Located in Fengqing County, the largest tea production county in Yunnan, Six-Famous-Tea-Mountain Fengqing Tea Factory covers an area of 84 mu(≈5.6 hectare) with the total investment of 120 million yuan, constructed by three phases. The first and second phases that have been completed and put into operation covers an area of 58 mu(≈3.867 hectare), including the main workshops with the total building area of over 12,000m2, the auxiliary storehouses with the area of over 6,000m2 and several modern production lines constructed absolutely in accordance with international production standards and quality standards, with the annul production capacity of 5,000 tons of shaped Pu’er tea. The construction and putting into operation of the first and second phases of the project means that “Six-Famous-Tea-Mountain” has possessed the largest single workshop with the most standardized technological process and the most modern production line in the circle of Pu’er tea; it also means that “Six-Famous-Tea-Mountain” has become the first-class enterprise in the field of Pu’er tea.
