Ms. Ruan Dianrong was born in 1968 in Zhaotong, Yunnan, Hui Nationality; graduated from Yunnan College of Political Science and Law Academy and from postgraduate class for civil and commercial law of Southwest University of Political Science and Law. She had once worked as deputy general manager and the Party branch secretary of Sino-Foreign Joint Venture Yunnan Zhensi Ferroalloy Factory, working as factory director & vice secretary of the Party committee of Menghai Tea Factory, and president & general manager of Menghai Tea Industry Co., Ltd since 1998. In 2002, she established Yunnan Six-Famous-Tea-Mountain Tea Industry Co., Ltd. Ms. Ruan is executive director of China Tea Marketing Association, executive director of China Tea and Human Sodality, vice director of Yunnan Research Institute of Ethnic Tea Culture, executive vice director of Yunnan Provincial Tea Chamber of Commerce, executive director of Yunnan Tea Association and director of Kunming National Tea Culture Promotion Committee.
Ms. Ruan Dianrong is devoted to the exploration, collation and communication of Pu’er tea culture; she has written the tea science collection series Six-Famous-Tea-Mountain published by Beijing Publishing House Group, tea culture works My Humanistic Pu’er and The Rediscovery of Pu’er Tea published by Yunnan People’s Press, and she has published many articles on Pu-Erh Tea Pot, China Tea Economic Information, Tea Times and Yunnan Pu’er Tea, with special column of “tea talk” in Yunnan Daily and Lincang Daily. In 2005, her article Crusted Pu’er Tea · Weight of Time was selected into the unified examination paper for Chinese in Yunnan Province.
